È una bellissima chiesa nei pressi di Campo dei Fiori. Due anni fà la facciata principale aveva un colore forte, tra l'arancio ed il rosso.. nel 2024 è stata restaurata ed ora ha un colore più delicato...
Entrando all'interno, quello che mi ha colpito sono le parole in latino sulla volta:
"DEO", "TRINO"," UNI"..ossia: Dio è Trino e Uno, quindi è solo Uno ma è composto da Tre Persone: il Padre, il Figlio e Lo Spirito Santo.
Il simbolo che ricorre è quello della figura geometrica del triangolo che spiega figurativamente questa realtà divina. Questo è rappresentato ancora meglio nel dipinto dell'abside dove il Padre abbraccia il Figlio Crocifisso e tra i due aleggia la colomba dello Spirito Santo che è l'Amore che lega il Padre al Figlio.
Ognuno di noi si può inserire in questo legame d'amore che è vivo e vero ed è tangibile in tutta la sua bellezza in questa chiesa.
It's a beautiful church near Campo dei Fiori. Two years ago, the main façade had a bold color, somewhere between orange and red. It was restored in 2024 and now has a more delicate hue.
Entering inside, what struck me were the Latin words on the vault:
"DEO", "TRINO", "UNI"... meaning: God is Triune and One, therefore He is only One but is composed of Three Persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
The recurring symbol is the geometric figure of the triangle, which figuratively explains this divine reality. This is even better represented in the painting in the apse, where the Father embraces the Crucified Son, and between the two hovers the dove of the Holy Spirit, who is the Love that binds the Father to the Son.
Each of us can enter into this bond of love, which is alive and true and is tangible in all its beauty in this church.
